What are patches?

A patch is like a piece of fabric you use to fix a tear in your favorite shirt.

Imagine you're wearing a superhero cape, it’s bright and shiny, but one day you trip and rip a hole in it. Instead of throwing the cape away, you take a small square of fabric, that's your patch, and sew it over the hole. Now your cape is fixed and still looks cool!

How Patches Work

Think of a shirt or a jacket as a big piece of paper with holes in it. A patch is like a sticker you put on the hole to cover it up.

You can even make patches look fancy by using different colors or patterns, just like how you might choose your favorite stickers to put on your notebook.

Why We Use Patches

Patches help things last longer, and they’re fun because you can get creative with them. It’s like giving your clothes a new design every time you fix them!
