Negative features are things that make something less good, like when your favorite toy breaks and you can’t play with it as much anymore.
Imagine you have a super cool robot that can do amazing tricks, but one day, it starts making funny noises and moves slower. Those funny noises and slow movement are negative features because they make the robot not as awesome as before.
Like When You Lose Your Favorite Sock
Think of your sock drawer. It has 10 socks, all matching and perfect. Now imagine you lose one sock. That missing sock is like a negative feature. It doesn’t ruin everything, but it makes the drawer just a little less happy.
Sometimes, things have both good parts and bad parts. The robot still works, even with its funny noises. Your sock drawer still has 9 great socks. So negative features are just little bumps in the road, not big problems, but things that make something just a tiny bit less perfect.
