What are multi-agent models?

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends where each person has their own idea about how to win, and they all make choices at the same time. That's what multi-agent models are like, but instead of friends, we have many tiny characters called agents who interact with each other in a world.

What’s an agent?

An agent is like one of your friends in that game, it can be a person, a robot, or even something as simple as a car. Each agent has its own rules about how it behaves and makes decisions. For example, one agent might always go straight, while another tries to take the shortest path.

How do they work together?

In a multi-agent model, all these agents live in the same world and make choices at the same time. They can help each other or even compete, just like when you and your friends try to win the game by working together or trying to outsmart each other. The cool part is that you can watch how their choices affect everyone else, making the whole system come alive with movement and change!
