What are microleds?

MicroLEDs are tiny light bulbs that can be used to make bright and colorful screens, like on phones or TVs.

Imagine you have a big wall made up of thousands of little flashlight bulbs, each one is so small you could fit hundreds on your fingernail! That’s what microLEDs are like. They’re super small, but they shine really brightly. Because they're so tiny and bright, they can be used to make screens that look amazing, they’re clear, vivid, and use less energy than bigger lights.

Think of each microLED as a little light switch on your wall. When you turn it on, it shines one color, red, green, or blue. By combining these tiny lights together, screens can show all the colors you see in cartoons, games, and videos.
