What are locations?

A location is like a special address that tells us where something is in our world.

Imagine you have a toy box full of your favorite toys, cars, blocks, and action figures. Each toy has its own spot inside the box. That spot is like a location, it shows you exactly where to find each toy when you want to play with it.

Like a Map for Your Room

Think about your bedroom. Your bed is in one corner, your closet is on the other side, and your desk sits right in the middle. Each of these places, your bed, your closet, your desk, has its own location. It’s like having a mini map that helps you find things quickly.

Location Helps You Find Things

If I say, “Look under your bed,” you know exactly where to go because you know the location of your bed. Just like how your toys have their spots in the box, everything around you has its own special place, and that’s what a location is!
