What are life exists?

Life exists means there are things that grow, move, and change on their own, just like you!

Imagine your favorite toy is alive: it can wiggle, squish, and even eat (like a snack). That’s what living things do every day. They don’t need someone to push them around; they take care of themselves.

What Makes Something "Alive"?

Living things need food, water, and a place to rest, just like you. Think about your pet dog: it eats, drinks, sleeps, and plays all by itself. That’s life!

Life is Everywhere

You might find life in your backyard, on the playground, or even under your bed! A worm in the soil, a bird flying overhead, or a bug crawling up your leg, they’re all alive too.

So when we say “life exists,” we mean there are many different kinds of living things around us. They come in all shapes and sizes, big, small, fast, slow, but they all do what it takes to keep going!
