Like a Floor That Won’t Let You Walk Through It
Think about the floor under your feet. You can walk on it, jump on it, and it feels solid. But if someone told you that the floor was actually made of invisible blocks, and those blocks were holding you back from walking through it, that would feel like an invisible wall!
It’s kind of like when you try to push through a crowd at a playground. You can’t just walk right through them, even though they’re not blocking your way with anything real.
They're Everywhere
Sometimes invisible walls are in games, like when you run into a wall on a video game and you can't go further, but it's just the screen that stops you. Or in real life, like trying to walk through a door that’s closed, even though there's no wall blocking your path.
Invisible walls make things fun because they’re hidden, and you have to figure out how to get past them!
Examples
- A wall that divides two neighborhoods but isn’t built, people just don’t go there because of old habits.
- A school only lets some kids join certain clubs based on where they live, even though no one told them about it.
- A street that looks the same from both sides, but only one side gets new stores and jobs.
