What are individual differences?

Everyone is different, just like how each toy in your toy box has its own special way of playing.

Imagine you and your friends all have individual differences, that means you all think, feel, and act in your own unique ways. Just like some toys are bouncy and others are soft, some people love to run around, while others like to sit quietly and draw.

Why we're all different

Think of a big family with lots of cousins. Each one has their own favorite food, game, or way of talking, that’s individual differences in action! It's like having many kinds of ice cream: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and more. Even though they’re all ice cream, each flavor tastes different.

Sometimes people might feel confused or even a little lonely when they see others acting differently, but that's normal! Just like some toys need to be played with in certain ways, people also have their own special ways of being happy and learning things.
