What are hunters?

Hunters are people who find and catch animals to eat or use for other things.

Imagine you’re playing hide-and-seek in a big forest, that’s kind of what hunters do, but with real animals. They go into the woods, sometimes on foot, sometimes on horses or even in special vehicles, and they try to find animals like deer, rabbits, or bears. Once they find them, they use tools like bows, arrows, guns, or traps to catch them.

How Hunters Work

Hunters are like really good detectives. They watch where the animals go, what time of day they come out, and even how they move. Some hunters wear camouflage clothes that look just like trees or grass, it’s like wearing a disguise so the animals don’t notice them coming.

After they catch an animal, hunters often take some of it home to eat, kind of like how you might bring back a snack from your lunchbox after a big adventure!
