Trading is when people exchange one thing they have for another thing someone else has.
Imagine you and your friend both want to play with each other’s favorite toys. But instead of just taking them, you can trade, you give your friend your toy car, and they give you their dinosaur figure. Now you both get to play with the toy you wanted most!
How Trading Works
- You have something you don’t need anymore.
- Someone else has something you do want.
- You agree to swap them.
It’s like when you go to a store, sometimes you can trade in your old phone for a new one. The store gives you the new phone, and you give them the old one. It's a kind of barter, where people exchange things they have for things they want.
Trading doesn’t always need money, it can be done with toys, food, even chores! You just need to find someone who wants what you have and is willing to give you what you want.
Examples
- A farmer trades apples for bread with a baker.
- Kids swap toys during playtime.
- A fisherman gives fish to a tailor in exchange for clothes.
