What are helper t cells?

Helper T cells are like the boss of the body’s defense team.

Imagine your body is a big school, and every time something sneaky tries to get in, like a virus or bacteria, it's like a new kid trying to sneak into class without being noticed. The helper T cell is like the principal who sees this happening and shouts, “Hey, everyone! There’s a problem here!” That gets all the other defenders, like soldiers, ready to fight back.

How Helper T Cells Work

Think of helper T cells as the announcer at a sports game. When they see something bad coming in, like a virus, they shout out loud to tell the other players, like B cells and killer T cells, what’s going on. That way, everyone knows exactly who to fight and how to take them down.

Without helper T cells, the body’s defenders might not know what's happening or who to attack. It's like a game where no one tells you who the opponent is, it would be really hard to win!
