What are happy endings?

A happy ending is when something good happens at the end of a story or event, like getting your favorite toy back after it was lost.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite dinosaur toy, and it rolls under the couch. You search for it, you call for help, and finally, you find it right where you left it! That’s a happy ending, everything goes back to how it was, and you’re happy again.

A happy ending is like having your favorite snack after a long day at school. It means things work out the way you hope they will. You might feel surprised or even excited, but most of all, you feel good about what happened.

Sometimes, it's not just getting something back, it could be making a new friend, solving a puzzle, or finishing a game. Any time something fun and satisfying happens at the end, that’s a happy ending!
