A government is like a big school, and government departments are like different classes in that school, each one has its own job to do.
Imagine you have a class where everyone learns about money, like counting coins or saving for toys. That’s like the finance department, which helps manage the country’s money.
Another class might be all about making sure people can go from one place to another, that's like the transportation department, which builds roads and manages buses and trains.
There's also a class where kids learn how to help others when they're sick or hurt. That’s like the health department, which takes care of hospitals and doctors.
Sometimes, a government has many classes, maybe 20 or even more, each doing a special job so that everything in the country runs smoothly, just like how different classes in school make sure everyone learns well.
