What Makes It Special
Glass bottles are made from glass, which is a material you might know from windows or your mom’s kitchen. When they're made, the glass is shaped into a round body with a narrow top, and then sealed with a cap, like how you put the lid on a jar of pickles.
How They Work
When you open a glass bottle, it's like opening a door to a treasure chest: you can pour out what’s inside. And when you close it again, the cap keeps everything safe and fresh, just like your lunchbox keeps your snacks from getting squished.
Some glass bottles are even reusable, you can wash them out and use them over and over, like how you reuse your water bottle at school!
