Ghosts are like invisible friends who stay around even when people leave.
Imagine you have a favorite toy that you play with every day. Now imagine your brother moves out of the house, but sometimes you still hear him laughing in his old room, only no one is there. That’s kind of what ghosts are like. They’re people who used to be alive, and now they stay around in places they loved.
What the Bible Says
The Bible is a big book with stories about God and people from long ago. In some parts, it talks about ghosts, or spirits that come back after someone dies. One story says a man named Saul saw a ghost of his old friend King Saul, like he was still there, even though he had been gone for years.
It’s like when you draw a picture on the wall with crayons and then later see your handprint on it, even though you’re not holding the crayon anymore. The Bible says ghosts can be real, just like that, they're people who are still around in the places they loved, maybe even talking to us or helping us.
Examples
- In one story, Jesus raised a man from the dead, which could be seen as a kind of ghostly experience.
- Some people think ghosts are real because they've had experiences where they saw or felt spirits.
