When Things Are Not Fair
Sometimes, like when you play a game and someone gets to go first every time, they have more of a chance to win. That’s not fair because they start with an advantage.
So fair chances are about giving everyone the same chance, so no one feels left out or cheated, it’s just like sharing cookies equally!
Examples
- Rolling a six-sided die gives each number the same chance to appear.
- Drawing a card from a well-shuffled deck is a fair chance for any specific card.
