External factors are things that happen outside of you or your group, and they can change what happens next.
Imagine you're building a tower with blocks in your room. You’re the one stacking them up, but if someone shoves your chair, or if the lights suddenly go out, those are external factors. They come from outside of you and can make your tower fall down even if you did everything right.
Like a Playground
Think about playing on a playground. If it’s sunny, you might run around and play tag. But if it starts to rain, that’s an external factor! It changes what you’re doing without you making the decision. You didn’t choose the rain, but it affects your game.
Like Cooking Cookies
Or think about baking cookies with your mom. You mix everything just right, but if the oven is too hot or too cold, the cookies might come out weird. That’s also an external factor! It wasn’t your fault, but it changed the result.
So external factors are like unexpected helpers or troublemakers that come from outside and change things up!
