What are evaluation by others?

Evaluation by others is when people around you help you understand how good or bad something is, like getting a thumbs up from your friend after you do something cool.

Imagine you're trying to figure out if your drawing is the best one in class. You might look at it and think, "Is this good?" But sometimes, it's easier to know when other people say things like, "That looks amazing!" or "Hmm, maybe you could add more colors." That’s evaluation by others, they're giving you their opinion so you can learn and improve.

How It Works in Real Life

Think of your favorite toy. You might think it's the best toy ever, but when your friend says, "I like my toy better," that helps you understand that other people have different opinions too. Evaluation by others is just like that, they're sharing their thoughts so you can see things from a new angle.

Sometimes, even if you don’t agree with what someone says, it still helps you grow and learn!
