What are errors?

Errors are like mistakes that happen when something goes wrong during a task.

Imagine you're trying to build a tower with blocks. You carefully stack one block on top of another, and everything looks good. But then you put a block that's too wobbly, and poof, the whole tower falls down! That’s like an error, it happens when something unexpected goes wrong during a process.

When Instructions Get Mixed Up

Sometimes, errors happen because instructions get mixed up. Like if you're following a recipe to make cookies but accidentally put salt instead of sugar in the dough. The cookie might still be edible, but it won’t taste right. That’s like an error, the result is different from what was expected.

When Something Breaks

Other times, errors happen when something breaks or doesn't work as it should. Like if you're trying to draw a picture with crayons, and one of them stops working halfway through. You might have to switch to another crayon, just like a computer switches to a backup plan when an error happens.

Errors are part of life, they help us learn and fix things!
