What are embryonic stages?

A baby starts as a tiny dot and grows into a whole person through different embryonic stages.

Imagine you're building a toy house. First, you just have one block, that’s like the very beginning of life, when a baby is made from a single cell. Then you add more blocks, and soon it becomes a full house with rooms, doors, and windows, that’s like how the baby changes during the embryonic stages, growing arms, legs, eyes, and even a tiny heart.

At first, the baby is just one cell. Then it splits into two, then four, then eight, it's like when you're playing with playdough, and each time you squish it, it doubles in size! After a few days, this growing bunch of cells becomes a tiny ball, and soon after that, it starts looking more like a baby inside a shell.

Each stage is like a step in the building process, simple at first, but getting more complex and detailed as time goes on.
