What are digital environments?

A digital environment is like a playground, but instead of swings and slides, it has computers and apps that let you play, learn, and create.

Imagine you have a toy box full of different toys, some are cars, others are blocks, and some are robots. Each toy does something fun, and they all live in the same place. A digital environment is like that toy box, but it lives on your tablet or computer. You can click, tap, or type to make things happen.

How It Works

In a real playground, you use your hands and feet to move around. In a digital environment, you use your fingers (or maybe a special pencil called a stylus) to move things on the screen. Just like how you build with blocks in the real world, you can build websites or games using tools inside a digital environment.

Examples All Around You

You’ve probably used one before! When you play a game on your phone or draw pictures on your tablet, that's a digital environment, it’s like having a magic sketchpad that remembers everything you do. You don’t need to use the word magic; just think of it as a super-smart toy box!
