What are crossroads?

A crossroads is where two or more paths meet, like when you’re choosing between different roads to go to school or the park.

Imagine you're playing with your toy cars on the floor. You have one road going from your bedroom to the living room, and another road going from your bedroom to the kitchen. When those two roads come together in your bedroom, that’s a crossroads! It's like a meeting place for different paths.

At a crossroads, you can decide which path to take next. If you're walking to school, maybe one road takes you past the ice cream shop, and the other goes straight to your friend’s house. The crossroads is where you stop and think: “Do I want to go by the ice cream shop or go straight to my friend?”

Just like how toy roads meet in your bedroom, real-life crossroads are places where people can choose different directions, maybe even going to different cities!
