What are crayons?

Crayons are colorful sticks you use to draw on paper, like when you make pictures of your favorite toys or animals.

What makes crayons special?

Crayons have colors inside them, just like how a fruit has juice inside. When you press the tip of a crayon on paper and move it across, the color comes out and leaves a mark, kind of like when you squeeze toothpaste from a tube, and it goes onto your plate.

How do they work?

Crayons are made so that when you draw with them, the color stays strong and doesn’t disappear easily. They're like little paint brushes that don’t need water or a big table, just your paper and your hand!

You can even break crayons in half if you want to make smaller ones, which is great for drawing tiny details or sharing with friends.
