What are cosmological views?

Cosmological views are big ideas about how the universe started and what it’s made of, like a story that explains everything around us.

Imagine you have a big box full of toys. Now, someone asks: “Where did all these toys come from? Are there more toys outside the box?” That’s kind of like what scientists do when they think about cosmological views, they try to figure out where everything came from and what might be beyond what we can see.

Like a Puzzle

Some people think the universe is like a puzzle that was put together a long time ago. Others believe it's still growing, like a balloon getting bigger and bigger. These different ideas are cosmological views, they help us understand how the world works, just like knowing where your toys came from helps you play better.

A Real Example

Think about when you blow up a balloon. The balloon stretches out, and everything on it moves apart. Scientists think the universe might be acting like that balloon, expanding every day. That’s one cosmological view among many!
