What are communities?

A community is a group of people who share something special and spend time together doing fun things.

Imagine your favorite playground, that's like a community! All the kids there are part of the same community because they play games, laugh together, and know each other. They might not all be friends, but they're in the same place and do similar things.

A community doesn’t have to be just people who live nearby, it can also be a group of friends who all love the same video game or a class full of students who work on projects together.

What makes a community special is that everyone in it feels connected and has something in common, like a shared interest or goal.

In a community, people help each other out, just like how you might share your favorite toy with a friend when they need it. Sometimes communities have rules, like "no running on the playground" or "take turns on the swings."

So whether it's a group of kids at the park or classmates in a room, a community is simply a place where people come together and enjoy being part of something bigger!
