What are chronic inflammatory states?

A chronic inflammatory state is when your body stays angry and swollen for a really long time, like having a tiny, never-ending fight inside you.

Imagine your body is like a toy box full of happy toys, everything works well. But if something goes wrong, like a toy gets broken or a new toy comes in that doesn’t fit, your body might start to feel inflamed, it’s like the toys are all shouting and pushing each other around.

Now, usually, after a little while, the noise stops, and everything calms down. That's an acute inflammation, like when you spill juice on the floor, and then you clean it up.

But if your body keeps feeling angry even after the problem is gone, that’s a chronic inflammatory state, like having a toy box full of toys that are always shouting, never stopping, day after day. That can make you feel tired or sore all the time, just like those noisy toys keep making a mess every single day.
