What are cherries?

Cherries are tiny, colorful fruits that grow on trees and taste sweet and juicy, just like a favorite snack.

Cherries are round and come in bright red or dark purple colors, similar to berries you might find in a fruit bowl. Some have a little bump on top, called the stem, which is where they attach to the tree, just like how grapes stick together on a vine.
