What are campfire stories?

Campfire Stories is when people sit around a fire and take turns telling fun stories to each other.

Imagine you're sitting on the floor with your family or friends, and there's a big fire in front of you, it’s warm, bright, and makes whooshing sounds. Now imagine everyone takes turns making up a story. One person starts with something like “Once upon a time, there was a robot who loved to dance,” and then the next person adds something wild, like “But one day, the robot found a chocolate factory in the middle of the ocean!” You all laugh and keep adding parts, it’s like playing pass-the-baton but with words instead of a baton.

Why It's Fun

When you tell Campfire Stories, you get to make up anything. There are no rules, just imagination. Sometimes stories go silly, sometimes they’re spooky, and sometimes they end with everyone laughing so hard that the fire crackles from the sound. It’s like having a group of friends who all write a book together, but instead of writing, you're speaking it out loud.

You can do Campfire Stories anywhere, even if there's no real fire, just need a cozy place and some friends to share stories with.
