What are cakes?

Cakes are layered treats you can eat with your hands, just like stacking blocks to build a tower.

Imagine you have a big bowl of fluffy dough, kind of like the soft clouds you see in the sky. You put it in the oven, and it becomes a cake base, think of it as the bottom of your tower. Then you add sweet layers on top, like adding colorful blocks one by one. Each layer can be different: some are chocolatey, some are creamy with frosting, and some have tiny pieces of fruit or candy inside, just like putting stickers on your blocks.

Sometimes, people put icing on the top, it's like a shiny coat you paint over your tower to make it look fancy. You can even add candles and sing a song before you eat it, but that’s extra fun!

If you take a bite, it’s like biting into a soft, sweet block tower, delicious and full of surprises inside!
