What are brain responses?

Brain responses are how your brain talks to your body when something happens around you or inside you.

Imagine your brain is like a detective who’s always watching and listening. When something interesting happens, like you touch a hot stove, the detective sends messages to your body so you can react. That's a brain response!

Like a Message in a Bottle

Your brain uses special messengers called neurons, which are like tiny helpers that send signals through your body. These signals travel along paths in your brain and body, just like letters going from one house to another.

For example, when you see something bright or hear a loud noise, your brain sends out a signal, and boom, you blink or jump! That’s your brain responding to what it saw or heard.

Brain Responses Are Everywhere

You don’t always notice them, but brain responses are happening all the time. When you laugh, cry, run, sit down, or even dream, that's your brain talking to your body in its own special way. It’s like a secret language between your brain and everything else in your body!
