The Nazis Hated Other Races... So Why Did Japan Join Them?

The Nazis wanted to be the best group, so they picked on others, but Japan joined them because they had their own reasons.

Imagine you're in a big schoolyard game where everyone wants to win. The Nazis were like that one kid who always picks on other kids to make themselves look cool. They said people from other countries, like Jews, Africans, and others, weren’t as good as them. That’s why they treated them badly.

Now imagine Japan was another kid in the schoolyard who wanted to be friends with the biggest, coolest kid (the Nazis). So instead of picking on the same group, Japan picked on a different one, like the Chinese, because that made them look strong too.

Why Did They Want To Be Friends?

Sometimes, kids team up not just because they want to win, but also because they think being friends with the cool kid will help them get more respect. Japan thought if they joined the Nazis, it would make their country stronger and give them a better chance at winning in the big game of life.

So even though both groups were picking on others, they had different reasons for doing it, like two kids who both want to win but pick different teams! The Nazis wanted to be the best group, so they picked on others, but Japan joined them because they had their own reasons.
