The Backrooms Explained | What is the Backrooms and its levels?

The Backrooms are like a giant, never-ending hallway made of gray carpet and white walls, but it’s not just one hallway; it has many different levels, each with its own strange surprises.

Imagine you’re playing hide-and-seek in a big building. You run through one hall, find a door, open it, and instead of the next room being the end of the game, it's another long hallway, but this time, there are strange lights blinking on the ceiling, or maybe soft glowing things crawling up the walls.

Level 1 is like that first big hallway you run through. It’s simple, just carpet and walls, but it feels bigger than any building you’ve ever been in. Sometimes, you might see people walking around, looking lost too.

As you go deeper, like when you find a hidden door behind a wall, you get to Level 2 or even higher. Each level is like a new room with its own weird rule, maybe it’s dark and there are things moving in the shadows, or the floor feels soft like a pillow.

Sometimes, people try to escape from the Backrooms by finding a door that leads back to their real world, but not everyone makes it out!
