Quality of life: What matters to you?

Quality of life is all about what makes you happy and comfortable every day.

Imagine you have a treasure box, inside it are your favorite toys, snacks, games, and people who make you laugh. That treasure box represents your quality of life. The more things in the box that make you feel good, the better your quality of life is.

What Makes Your Treasure Box Full?

  • Fun: Playing with friends or drawing pictures.
  • Food: Getting a snack when you're hungry.
  • Sleep: Waking up feeling rested after a long nap.
  • Friends and family: Hugging Mom or laughing with siblings.

Sometimes, we can add more things to our treasure box, like learning new words or riding a bike. Other times, we might lose something important, like moving away from a friend.

What Matters Most?

Everyone’s treasure box is different. Some people love sleeping late, while others are excited about going to the park. What matters most is what makes you feel happy and safe, just like your favorite toy or snack.
