Is capitalism actually broken?

Capitalism is like a big game where people try to win by making things and selling them, but sometimes it gets unfair.

Imagine you have a lemonade stand. You work hard to make the best lemonade, and people come from far away just to buy it. That’s capitalism working well, you’re happy, your customers are happy, and everyone wins.

But if someone else starts copying your recipe and selling lemonade too, that's okay. It means more people can enjoy lemonade. But if they start cheating by putting less sugar in their lemonade just to save money, then you have to work even harder, or maybe even go out of business.

That’s when capitalism feels like it’s broken. Some people get all the money and power, while others struggle just to keep going. It's like if one kid has all the toys and the other kids are left with nothing, even though everyone was playing the same game.

But capitalism doesn’t have to stay broken forever. If we make rules that help everyone play fairly, it can become a fun and fair game again.
