If God is infinite but an actual infinite isn’t possible, it means God’s kind of infinity works differently from what we see in everyday life.
Imagine you have a bag of marbles. If the bag has 10 marbles, that's easy to count. But if the bag has an infinite number of marbles, like never-ending, that’s tricky because you can’t finish counting them. That's what people mean by actual infinite, something that really has no end.
But God isn't just a big bag with more marbles than we can count. God is the one who created everything, including numbers and marbles! So God doesn’t need to be "infinite" in the same way as an endless line of marbles.
A Special Kind of Infinity
Think about your favorite song. It plays over and over again, once, twice, three times… forever. That's like God’s kind of infinity: never-ending, but not because it was always there. It just keeps going because God is keeping it going.
So even if an actual infinite isn't real in our world, God can still be infinite in a special way, like your favorite song that never stops playing.
