How were the great pyramids built ? - Graham Hancock?

The great pyramids were built by lots of people working together, just like how you and your friends build a big tower with blocks.

Big stones were used to make the pyramid, and they came from nearby hills. People probably used tools made of copper or stone to cut these rocks into shape. It’s kind of like when you use scissors to cut paper, except this was much bigger!

How did they move the stones?

Imagine if you had to carry a big block of ice from one end of the playground to the other. That would be tough! But people used ramps and maybe even wet sand to help them slide the heavy stones across. It’s like how you can push your toy car faster on a smooth floor than on a bumpy one.

How did they stack them up?

Once the stones were moved, workers put them in place, layer by layer, just like stacking plates in the kitchen, but much bigger and more careful. They probably used ropes and levers to help lift the heavy blocks into position.

It took many years and a lot of people working together, but that’s how the pyramids got so big and strong!
