How to play Hues and Cues?

Hues and Cues is a game where you guess colors based on hints from other players.

You need cards with different colors, like the colors of your favorite crayons or the shirts you wear every day. Each player gets some cards, and one person is the clue giver, they try to help others figure out which color card they have.

How it Works

  • The clue giver sees the color on someone’s card but doesn’t tell them what it is.
  • Instead, they say a word or phrase that describes how they feel about that color. For example: “I feel happy!” if the color is yellow, like the sun!
  • Other players take turns guessing the color based on the clue.

Taking Turns

Everyone gets a turn to be the clue giver. You can use any words you want, as long as they help others guess the right color. The more creative your clues, the easier it is for everyone to play!

It’s like telling a story about how a color makes you feel, and then letting other people solve that little mystery!
