How It Works
Imagine you have two big buckets connected by tubes, one on the ground, one on a shelf. When you pour water into the bottom bucket, it pushes air out of the top bucket through a tube. The air then helps push water from the bottom bucket up to the top bucket, where it flows back down like a little waterfall.
Why It Never Stops
Now picture two friends passing a ball, when one throws the ball, it goes to the other, who sends it right back. In this case, water and air are the friends! As water keeps moving from one bucket to the other, air moves in the opposite direction through a hidden tube, keeping everything going smoothly.
You don’t need any magic, just some clever tubes and buckets working together like best friends on a never-ending game of catch!
Examples
- A Heron's Fountain is like a magical water tower that never stops flowing because of clever air pressure tricks.
- Imagine a simple fountain that keeps going without any help from electricity or pumps.
