How Light Works | Photography Lighting for Beginners?

Light is like a toy that helps you see things better when you take pictures.

Imagine you're playing with blocks in a room. If it's bright outside, you can see all your blocks clearly, that’s light helping you. But if the room is dark, it’s harder to tell what color the blocks are or how tall they are, that’s when light becomes important for taking good pictures.

Light moves like a line from one place to another. Think of it as a flashlight pointing at your block tower. The light goes straight from the flashlight to your blocks, and then into your camera, just like how you see things when you're playing with toys.

If there's not enough light, your picture might look blurry or too dark, like trying to see your blocks through a foggy window. But if there’s the right amount of light, your picture looks clear and colorful, just like when you’re playing in a sunny room with your favorite toys.
