How is the landscape of theatrical versus streaming evolving?

Theaters and streaming services are both places where people watch shows, but they're like different kinds of playgrounds.

Theater is like a big, loud playground where everyone watches the same show at the same time, it's exciting, and you can feel the energy from other kids around you. You have to go there in person, and it’s usually more expensive, but it feels special because it’s all happening right then and there.

Streaming, on the other hand, is like having your own little TV in your bedroom that lets you watch shows whenever you want, you can pause, rewind, or even watch a show with your best friend on their phone while you're on yours. It's more flexible and usually cheaper, but it doesn’t have that same shared excitement.

Now, the landscape is changing because both places are getting better at what they do. Theaters might add cool new effects like 3D or bigger screens, while streaming services keep adding more shows and letting you watch them on lots of different devices, like your phone, tablet, or even your smartwatch!

So it's like two playgrounds learning from each other to make playing (or watching) even more fun.
