How has migration influenced Australia's societal development?

Australia is like a big empty playground that slowly filled up with different kinds of friends.

Migration means people moving from one place to another, it’s like when you go to a new school and bring your favorite toys, and then other kids come too, bringing their own toys.

Like a growing party

When Australia first started getting migrants, it was mostly people from Europe, like England, Italy, or Greece. They came in big groups, like when you have a birthday party and all your friends show up at once. These new friends brought their food, languages, and ways of living.

New friends, new flavors

Later on, more migrants came from Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, it was like adding even more cool toys to the playground. They brought different foods, music, and traditions. Now Australia has a big mix of people, just like a colorful candy bag. Because of this, Australia’s society is full of variety, you can find lots of languages spoken, many kinds of food in restaurants, and festivals that celebrate all these new friends.

Australia keeps getting more migrants, so the playground is always growing, with more fun and more friends to play with!
