What Happens When You Drink Coffee
When you drink coffee, it sends special messengers called caffeine into your body. These messengers go straight to your brain and say, “Hey, wake up!” Your brain is like a radio that was turned down, caffeine turns it all the way up!
How the Brain Feels It
Your brain has little switches called neurons, and caffeine helps them send signals faster. It’s like giving your brain a speed boost so it can think quicker, focus better, and even feel happier.
What Happens When You’re Done with Coffee
Eventually, the messengers leave, and your brain starts to slow down again, kind of like when you finish playing with that exciting toy and go back to rest time. That’s why sometimes people feel a little tired after their coffee wears off!
Examples
