How Does Wind Actually Work?

Wind is like a big invisible fan in the sky. When the sun warms up the air near the ground, that warm air becomes lighter and rises up. The cooler air nearby moves in to replace it, and that’s how wind starts. It’s just air moving from where it's hot to where it's cold, over and over again, like a never-ending game of tag.
