How Does White Nile Work?

The White Nile is like a long, winding river that helps carry water from one place to another, just like how your favorite toy car travels along a track.

Imagine you're playing with a long hose in the bathtub. When you turn on the tap, water flows through the hose and comes out at the other end, that’s kind of what the White Nile does, but much bigger!

The White Nile starts high up in a mountain called Lake Victoria, which is like a big swimming pool for rivers. From there, it flows down, going through different countries, just like how your toy car goes from one end of the track to the other.

Sometimes the water moves fast, and sometimes it moves slow, kind of like when you're running or walking. Along the way, it meets up with other rivers, like the Blue Nile, and together they make a bigger river called the Nile.

So the White Nile is just one part of a big journey that brings water to places where people can use it for farming, drinking, and more, kind of like how your bathtub hose helps you have fun with water!
