Like Building with Blocks
Imagine you're trying to build a super tall tower out of blocks. It’s hard to lift the blocks all by yourself. But if you have friends helping you push or pull, it gets much easier! That's what happened with Stonehenge, people used big wooden poles like giant straws to help them move the big rocks.
A Big Push and a Little Help
Some of the rocks were moved over long distances using a special kind of sled, almost like a cart. People might have even used water or wet soil to make it easier for the sled to slide. It was like giving your toy car a smooth road so it can zoom faster!
They also used something called a lever, just like when you lift up one end of a seesaw to help your friend go higher. By working together and using these tools, people could move really heavy rocks without magic, just clever ideas and teamwork!
