Light is like a message that helps us see things around us, just like how your friend taps you on the shoulder to get your attention.
Light is made up of tiny particles called photons, which are like little messengers flying through space. When these photons hit something, like your toy car or your favorite book, they bounce back and go into your eyes. That’s how you see everything!
How Light Moves
Imagine you're in a dark room, and someone flips on a light switch. Suddenly, the room is bright because light is spreading out from the bulb like ripples in a pond. This is called radiation, and it's just the way light moves, going straight or bending when it hits something.
Why Light Exists
Light exists because things can be energetic! When you turn on a lamp, electricity gives energy to the bulb, which then makes light. The sun does the same thing, it’s like a giant lamp in the sky that never stops shining!
So, every time you see something, it's because light has traveled from that thing into your eyes, letting you know it's there!
Examples

- A flashlight beam shows how light travels in straight lines.
