How the Heart Gets Its First Push
Your heart has special cells inside it called pacemaker cells, like tiny conductors who know exactly when to start playing music.
These pacemaker cells send out a signal, kind of like a message that says, “It’s time to go!” This signal makes the heart muscle contract, which is like giving your toy car a little push. That’s how the first beat happens!
Once it starts beating, the heart keeps going, just like a drum that doesn’t stop once it begins.
So even though it feels like magic, it's really just tiny cells working together, just like you and your friends taking turns pushing a swing!
