The United Nations is like a big group of friends who help each other solve problems around the world.

The United Nations has members, like countries, they're like your friends in class. Each country can speak up and share their idea.

Just like you might vote on which game to play, countries can vote on important things like peace or helping other countries when they're in trouble.

Sometimes, if there's a big problem, like a war, the United Nations helps bring people together to fix it. It’s like when your teacher steps in to help you and your friends work things out after a disagreement.
