Migration is when people move from one place to another, just like how you might move from your bedroom to the kitchen for snack time.
Why People Migrate
Sometimes people move because they need to, maybe their home isn’t safe anymore, or there’s not enough food. This is like when you have to leave your favorite toy box because it's too crowded and you need more space. That’s forced migration.
Choosing a New Home
Other times, people choose to move because somewhere else looks better, like choosing a bigger toy box with more toys. This is called voluntary migration. They might go to a place where there are more jobs or better schools, just like how you might pick a different playground if it has swings and slide.
What Migration Really Means
Migration isn’t about magic, it’s about people making choices or being pushed by things they can't control. It’s like choosing your favorite snack for lunch, sometimes you get to pick, and sometimes the teacher picks for you!
