How Does The Journey of Nickel Work?

Nickel starts as a hidden treasure deep inside the Earth and travels through different places to become something we can use every day.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car. You push it, and it zooms across the floor, that’s kind of like what happens to nickel when it moves from one place to another.

How Nickel Travels

Nickel begins as a rock deep underground. Over many years, heat and pressure help it move up through layers of Earth, just like how your toy car moves across the floor when you push it.

Once it gets close to the surface, it can be found in special rocks called ore, think of them like treasure boxes filled with nickel waiting to be opened.

Then, miners dig it out, and it goes into a factory. There, it's cleaned up and made into shiny pieces or parts of things we use every day, like coins or tools.

It’s like taking your toy car from the floor and putting it in a special box, then later, you take it out again to play with it once more!
